It's the little things that really matter: I can't stop saying how nice it is to be home. While still in contact with loved ones from Wellington, (including the beautiful man), there is nothing like being back among your community. Our familiar friends, neighbours, shops, cafes (albeit in different locations), even dogs at the dog park.
And now I have my summer closet fully sorted (for now, waiting to get the SHED book by Julie Morgenstern) - it looks amazing, everything is in its place and I can't wait for the weather to fully warm up so I can wear these things. I have vowed to wear every single thing I've kept at least once this summer and note how it fits, feels, etc etc. Maybe I'll even photograph and blog about some of my favourite clothes now that I can see them again. I love clothes and checking out my own and other people's wardrobes, I often do that with friends.
Being home and getting unpacked is wonderful. "It's the little things. They really matter."
