Thumb twiddling here in New Zealand

It's been kind of fun doing this NaBloPoMo for the last 9 days, but writing something every day is a big ask. Notice I didn't even say writing something interesting everyday is a big ask.

I'm sort of thumb twiddling a bit.

I mean, I personally think my life is fascinating, but I don't think some would find it so. I can remember a few years back being on a forum chatting with someone, and a complete stranger butted in and said that New Zealand was boring. I know, what a cheek! The height of rudeness!

Hadn't they seen Brett and Jemaine from The Flight of the Conchords, Bungy jumping, The Lord of the Rings (a film which eight New Zealanders won Oscars for), Narnia, or the Jules-Te-Reo font (at Picnik) which I personally designed? (In fact it's my actual hand-writing, and not famous or notable at all, but since it is widely used at picnik I thought I would throw it in anyway.)

So you can probably tell that there is oodles of general creativity in New Zealand, and therefore in my life right now by default. It's just that in this very moment, on this very morning, I'm not really feelin' it. However I'm sure that this, too, will pass.
