Love uniquely, create beauty. I had one of those days yesterday. Popped in to see my gorgeous mechanic, Neville, to do a wee while-you-wait job which turned out to take a couple of hours! Luckily I had my laptop and trusty Bamboo pen tablet (put a link here so you can enjoy the v. cool intro) which I won (see the I won! I won! post after this) and whipped up a wee something while I waited. Here is what I created: a desktop background I made for my widescreen laptop, featuring our pug Hambley (on the right) and his girlfriend, Olive. I made everything on the page (papers, glitteries, sunflower stickers etc) except the staples. I make stuff from scratch, I never use actions or anything. Although it is slightly Christmassy, being December, the sunflowers are supposed to represent a southern hemisphere summer Christmas. I just can't relate to snowy Christmas scenes. All I know is a traditional swim in the sea on Christmas day, enjoying the sun, feeling free, celebrating life and the gift of Christ. The calendar is circled at the last day of school on the 14th December and Felicity's birthday, on January 2nd. If you want it, you can download my desktop here.
